Every director is visionary. They might not have good visions for their films, but, by their very nature, they are visionary, in as much as they bring their ideas (or "vision") to bear on a film. Ergo, preceding your largely anonymous director's name with this word is not only audacious and laughable, but also wholly irrelevant.
